So a final update I guess.. over the last day or so finally got the cab up and running.

- I've fitted new stickers to the back with the right serial number

- Did some testing, faffing about with Jamma voltages

- Rotated the sticks so up is up

- Wired the kick buttons up correctly

- had my first customers!

New stickers (which aren't sticking very well tbh..)



I was happy to see the monitor looks nice, the brightness is good and the colours seem vibrant. The CPS2 fan sounds like a jet engine! I've got a replacement so i'll swap it out soon.



The red looks more pink here, but that's just a trick of the camera



The screen needs some adjustment, i'm just waiting on some tools so I can start tinkering.



My first customers. I was amazed to find my sons mate literally hanging off the joystick while smashing the buttons.

It was a bit too much for them actually, they both had a meltdown because they couldn't be blue spider-man. It's great to see them enjoying it though as you said.

Not sure if it still counts as a project but I finally put the top marquee on my cab with some AvP artwork provided by Olly and married it up with some mood lighting and band posters that have a retro theme.

The artwork doesn't match the game I know
