yes, it was just sold to me? whats your point? i found it, i bought it
from where it has sat for 12 years or so...

Maybe i should infect my pc with bloatware and get lots of virii, that
would stir more dicussion on this list. Or maybe talk about MAME on
the PSP, or maybe how to get stronger RGB levels out of a PS1.

Those have been the hot topics of the last couple of months, i don't
know what we're doing talking about arcade games.

I'm not looking for you all to pat me on the back or something, in
fact, do the opposite, let this post pass you by like all the rest and
lets move onto more pressing issues like getting MAME to work, or how
to convert a home console to run in a cab.

Good to have you back P :)))))) I tried to fill in while you were away with the stroppy reply to peoples criticism but to be honest I "just aint got the jazz!"

The master has returned so the apprentice crawls back to his hole.

LOL

My point was..

I was hoping youd bite.... now get your ass back on #ukvac and stop acting
like a yankie :)

And it was less than a month ago you were infected with bloatware so im sure
you dont want to go up that route again.

Yes nice cab, like the p.o.s. centuri cabs you tell me that I collect, so
each to there own.

:)

Andy,

Yeah thanks for your comments,
however it's surely nice to try and help others with less technical
know-how than one's self?....
-or should we say "sorry, I can't help you this is an Arcade
discussion board only!"

I agree with you in part, however there have been many other Arcade
related posts, it just seems you've zero-ed in on the recent non-
arcade ones.

Nice of you to share your new Atari find, not so nice to "flame"
people. What's wrong with helping others in need?

Strangely this kind of thing doesn't happen on the Jamma+ board
which many people here view and vice-versa.

All the best,
DaveO.

Re: [uk-vac] Re: Atari Arcade Classics Prototype discovered
I can see why the dial up guys maybe have a problem with OT subjects (especially huge pasted texts about PC problems) ;) but if you have BB as most do and you don't want to read the OT posts then delete them. Most arcade collectors buy and sell on ebay, have PC's and probably a social life. I think UK VAC is at its best when the members are trying to help each other whatever the problem is. I get about 50 to 100 emails a day from Uk vac and ukpinball and it has never bothered me once. Its not hard to click delete.
I have never met Andy before but I do find his snappy comments amusing...when they are not directed at me! By the way Andy nice cab..I'll give you £500 for it ;)
As for a lack of chat on the UK VAC group, Most non technical members are afraid of asking how to test for +5v for fear of being ridiculed. I'm not saying they won't get help as a lot of people will try.
While I'm at it, I'm sorry if some of you are annoyed with me buying every SW PCB on ebay for the last year but I figured its an auction right? highest bid wins. Anyway I have enough now to keep me busy for a while, unfortunately I seem to have knocked the price of a non working star wars pcb to around $200 in the process.
Thanks to all of the help on the virus front and sorry to all who had lots of long OT emails.

Where did you find it/Where was it sat for 12 years?
How much did you pay for it?
