Re: [uk-vac] Re: Atari Arcade Classics Prototype discovered
I can see why the dial up guys maybe have a problem with OT subjects (especially huge pasted texts about PC problems)

but if you have BB as most do and you don't want to read the OT posts then delete them. Most arcade collectors buy and sell on ebay, have PC's and probably a social life. I think UK VAC is at its best when the members are trying to help each other whatever the problem is. I get about 50 to 100 emails a day from Uk vac and ukpinball and it has never bothered me once. Its not hard to click delete.
I have never met Andy before but I do find his snappy comments amusing...when they are not directed at me! By the way Andy nice cab..I'll give you £500 for it

As for a lack of chat on the UK VAC group, Most non technical members are afraid of asking how to test for +5v for fear of being ridiculed. I'm not saying they won't get help as a lot of people will try.
While I'm at it, I'm sorry if some of you are annoyed with me buying every SW PCB on ebay for the last year but I figured its an auction right? highest bid wins. Anyway I have enough now to keep me busy for a while, unfortunately I seem to have knocked the price of a non working star wars pcb to around $200 in the process.
Thanks to all of the help on the virus front and sorry to all who had lots of long OT emails.
