I love the turntable/ tape deck? You have. Is that a modern one? Looks like it has an lcd display. Love the silver and wood look 👌

The only hidden pleasures are the cabs in my garageYour house is far too tidy. I'm suspicious.
I think there are hidden guilty pleasures. I want pics 😆
I think 3 Dreamcasts is the minimum I’d want to have setup 👌View attachment 15349

I resisted posting a very similar thing 😆 love it! 👍Good to finally see the extremely rare Catcom Play System in action.
In my humble opinion the dreamcast was the peak of the 3D era for me, innovative, groundbreaking and great games that are still classics to this day, and a console that was ahead of its time but at the time deeply under appreciated. With a bit of tinkering I imanged to get Dreamcast running at 480p/60 yesterday - although I don't have 3 DremcastsView attachment 15517

Yeah i'd agree with that, I remember playing the arcade version at Mad Harry's and being a bit shocked how rough it looked in comparison. At that point everyone was used to arcade ports being scaled back to certain degree, not sure if Soul Calibur was the first game where the hardware at home had superseded the arcade boad. Also Namco peaked with perfecting the greatest 3D beat-em-up of all time, that being Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast, it surpassed the arcade version. Something unheard of at the time
Yeah that's a good call - I played alot of Tekken Tag and the PS2 version was certainly better looking. That would be neat comparison actually, i'd like to see it - I think the Tekken 3 PS1 port is pretty bang on but uses 2d backgrounds.I've been wanting to do a proper side-by-side with the Tekken games for a while - I could put two identical Dino King cabs next to eachother, one with Namco arcade hardware and the other with PlayStation or PlayStation 2 -> Scart -> Jamma video. I think Tekken Tag was superior on PS2 to the arcade board.
