Yeah I can sort you something out. Mine's geared around an SPI LCD display as well which you ideally need for feedback (I've moved some functions from direct keys on the remote to menu driven options) but I can rip that stuff out and send you a remote only version if you like?
I was stumped as to why it started misbehaving when I was coding yesterday until I discovered the remote had a stuck key. I'm considering sacking the remote now as it only seems to be guaranteed for keypresses into the 100's! I've wired in a rotary controller as well anyway, but I think I may miss the direct colour-set keys.
