Did you get this sorted?
Nope not yet.....
To update.....
I ordered a replacement fliptronic but they were out of stock. Then got an update from Luke saying he is still trying with my pcb. So far my faulty fliptronic has blown part of Luke's Indy pin when he tested it in it. Had every chip replaced, had burnt track damage fixed, been plugged into his scope. I said shall we give up and his reply was "I'm not letting a stupid flipper pcb get the better of me" He also said some clever tech stuff that means nothing to me

I'm currently contemplating finding another fliptronic and selling it if my ever lives again.
I'm sort of in limbo atm with it

also got severe pin withdrawals

Get over to the UK Yahoo lists, or get Andy Netherwood from Pinball Mania on the case.

There is NOTHING that man can't fix. There is a reason why he is called THE LEGEND.

I hate admitting defeat on a repair, but we need you back flipping ASAP!

I'm happy with Luke looking at it

tbh everyday I'm getting closer to buying one of those Rotten Dog (I think they're called) ones.
Also my games room is a sh*t tip atm so the pin is doubling up as a table

Ok so after so long not being able to play on my pin..... Today a
fliptronics pcb arrived from PinLED. I've put it in and still no
flippers

any ideas where to try next?

Also it now spits out 2 balls instead of 1 (still does this without the fliptronic connected)

Its made me a sad panda

The fliptronic was confirmed as fecked. So needed replacing anyway. Luke still hasn't sussed the original one. It looks like its taken something else with it when it went as it did when Luke plugged my old one into his Indy table. Just need to find where to go next. As much as I want to play it, I'm really interested in fault finding and fixing it

Stop Press......

We now have flippers

Now to do this I disconnected the wires and put them back on again....

It still gives out 2 balls instead of 1. I did a bit of (play) testing (

had to be done!) and it seems to know there's 2 balls in play and sort of works ok when you lock one of them as you carry on with the other 1. However it will end the game if you loose 1 of the balls on ball 3.

So... I did a factory reset to see if that helped and its now in German and still giving 2 balls

not sure...

I've done a bit more (play) testing and it seems to be sendign the 2nd ball in automatically. The ramp microswitch works fine as with no game running if you press it the plunger fires. If you lock 1 (or 2) ball(s) for multiball and you're on your last ball it knows where you're up to and plays fine.... unless you lock the last ball, start the multiball then loose 2 of the 3 as it then goes to game over... If that makes sense?

Check your trough switches in switch test. These are physical switches

Getaway has 3 balls in the trough.

Your symptons mean you have bad (stuck) trough no 3 switch (counting from the right)

When one ball is put in the shooterlane, due to your bad no 3 switch, it still believes it has 3 balls in the trough, so it spits out another ball.

Go to test levels - it will cycle through the active ones telling you what they are. If you're missing the 3rd ball, check wiring and the physical button.

Cheek plug - I still have a Getaway manual for sale if you need diagrams etc.
