Bloody is random, I thought they were down the road from me.

If nothing comes of it, at least it's an interesting read and a nose. All this stuff sat for 30/35 years in someone's decrepid house. It's finds like these that never fail to amaze. She bought the house and all the cabs were in it! Mental really. SUPERSPRINT2017-08-30 21:42:28

From the pictures that are front on, there doesn't seem to be much wood swelling and I would imagine if there was a lot of water the cocktails legs would have been really rusty and they look pretty good .. Whats the "Sky Invaders" there also appears to be a company logo on the side ... "NP" .. lots of curiosities....

Seems to be typical with European stuff is there are lots of renamed or bootleg cabs. Pins seem to be early solid state, which is a good thing. She has said that the cabs outside were brought into the light to take photos, but assume some water damage. It's certainly no mean feat to pick them up, let alone find somewhere to store it all.
I don't know, the location and the amount of stuff is certainly not everyone's cup of tea, not mine either really. Bloody shame.

I would have said 1k max. The pintables are only £200 each if they are complete.

Factor in the cost of hiring a van and fuel, ferry costs you might be looking at over 2k in total. Looks like a nice haul but only if you are local to it.

I'm sure others could value each machine for you seperatly.
Good luck with the raid.

Ok, so a deal has been done on these cabinets. There are 75/80 cabs in this house, uprights, cocktails, em and solid state pins. All games are from the mid/late seventies and early eighties, apart from thunderblade as previously mentioned.

I debated starting a fresh thread on this I'll leave it up to the mods.

So a rare opportunity has arisen then for some partners. We will travel to mid western France and collect the games. The house is in a bad way it's being made safe but caution and safety will be the order of the day.
We need at least 6 vans. 2 are sorted for sure, so pm me for the details if you are up for Le Raid de France!.

Good stuff mate, well done for securing the deal! Your French must be good!

It's not one for me unfortunately, but I will look forward to seeing the spoils!

Good luck!

As SuperSprint has said, he's looking for vaccers that are willing to hire a long wheel base high top transit or preferably Luton, potentially have another 1 or 2 vaccers in the van with you, then hop over to France for the day to grab all this stuff.

Currently 2 out of 6 vans. Please PM him asap.

Anyone around the east midlands (j25 m1) thinking about getting involved?

I have the dis-advantage of not being a driver but if someone around the east mids wants to team up, I'm willing to pay my share of the Luton,Petrol and Navigate and provide extra muscle ... plus we could stash alot of beer and wine amongst the machines

I also have storage space if your short of room.....

cheers
