Hey folks, I just got mine as well, and it ran absolutely fine for a while, but now reporting undervoltage. Time to adjust and check. I too need to ensure it's at the 5.1-5.2 guideline.
Any success for the rest of you for stability? I'm running a RPi5.
I also read the instructions and they said specifically NOT to install a heatsink on the RPI 5, due to the fan that's on the Recalbox Jamma

Yeah as soon as I adjusted the voltage on my power supply it’s worked perfectly since then.

Mines was initially bang on 5V but assuming it’s maybe not quite enough for it. Pushed it to 5.175 and all good now

After a sdcard failure, I got under voltage warning, adjusted and now working fine. Using pi5 and super easy piece of kit.

Great, I look forward to trying it out. I'm hoping Pi5 can run the more fun modern games up to, and including Naomi (I'm looking at you CPS / Midway games!)

Plays everything I’ve thrown at it so far.

Only issue I’ve had with it is from some of the more demanding Cave shooters like Mushihimesama Futari / DDPSDOJ. You have to disable the run ahead/reduced latency options for those, otherwise they get a bit stuttery.

Thanks, i did see that runahead use significant resources so I guess it's pushing the limits at that point.

How long you guys waited for the order to be dispatched?
It is the 2nd time I try to order. Everywere on the website says it is in stock. I order, I wait a week, I contact them and they always tell they have issues and is not in stock but will be in 2 weeks. Why lie on the website? Why get the money from people when there are no boards to sell. They shoud state it clear that the dispach time is a month or so.

I’ve got a couple - the first one was a preorder that took ages but that was down to the fact they pulled the initial release to make it compatible with the Pi5

The second one was within a week from ordering from France. Their communication is pretty awful though - I found that the most up to date info on stock was on their Discord site, but most of it is in French, so difficult to pick through

Finaly I got it. Burned the image put some roms on it and guess what? Shits not working. I must have done something wrong. Every game I try (apart from the ports that comes with it) dose not showing any image. The game clearly runs, I can coin up and play it blind. I'll try to contact the franch guys and see if they can assist me further.

**EDIT: I put the roms in the mame2003 folder and got it working. I see they use the same method for inputs like the rgb-pi but with some diodes on some pins. 4x i2c port expanders to cover all the inputs. I'll make a better review once I have time.

Anybody got something like a full romset with working games? archive.org is down....

There's a hidden dip switch (under a tiny piece of tape) on the recalbox jamma board that can disable the over voltage protection. top right. Some boot with higher load that settles down

Hello again,

I got the RGB Jamma image from the archive.org
Anybody knows how can I edit the dip switches for games? Pressing the TAB Key on the keyboard dosen't do anythig. Apart from the ESC key on the keyboard, none of the keys do anything.
Anybody got any ideea what can I do?

Also, using the Recalbox Manager V3, when I take a screenshot, the screen shot is very long. Any Ideeas on how to get a better screenshot?

Thanks a lot.

I got mine yesterday. Well impressed so far. Virtually plug and play. I'm using the neo geo passion image. My one gripe is the lack of 25khz support.

You just use your original physical Test and Service buttons inside your cabinet to access the dip settings for each game, bud 👍

Can’t help you with the screenshot stuff though 😕

Pull the test pin or service pin on the jamma connector dose nothing.
I realised that the image is 1920 pixel wide, resizig it in paint make it look a lot beter. pixel perfect my ass.
The french guys from recalbox won't bother to answer my emails. Great pice of technology.
