I think he only needed a PCB for it.

I am trying to look for one for you.

Not sure if much else will be much use on a DLX Airdrive cab.

Paying £850 just for the pcb is crazy. Those x board are very hard to find working, and If anyone does have one, they probably won't let it go.

I would try to see If the board has suicided first. I can provide the 2 eproms and processor If needed.

Thanks guy’s, genuinely not had a minute to look at gp at all for weeks, I did try a couple of well known companies within our community with no joy. I’m not sure also if the air drive system would work on a uprights pcb, it’s going to be long project I think

After further investigation I’ve found another smaller pcb with a fault code display! The code starts at 91 then after a minute goes to c1 then ‘L. The battery on the main pcb is amazingly still showing 4v. CRT is still showing horizontal lines. I’ve looked on line and can’t find any fault code diagnostics, can anyone point me in the right direction please. I’m not experienced enough to do much at all with pcbs in any way. Thanks in advance Telf

According to the manual 837-7005 is your drive board so I'm assuming that controls the Air Drive System. I would have thought the game would boot up even if that wasn't working properly. Have you spoken to Mark @ RetroClinic about having a look at the main board?

Looking at your main game board, You have 2 main game eproms missing, and 2 sub eproms missing. It also looks like, someone has replaced some of the graphics eproms at some time.

It still has the battery processor fitted as well. If you haven't got an eprom programmer etc, then sending off to retro clinic, may be your best bet.

If it was mine, I would remove all the eproms, and check them against the mame files, and replace the missing eproms, or faulty one's. I would also bin that battery processor, and fit a standard 6800P12, and replace with 2 decrypted eproms.

These are very complex boards, so sending off for repair may be your best bet, unless someone local is willing to help out.

That's not correct. Super Monaco only has 2 main CPU Roms and 2 sub CPU Roms populated on the board. His board is not missing eproms.

Aside from that, I would follow Chopper's advice and desucide the board, or send it to someone who can if you are uncomfortable doing it yourself. Speak to Mark at Retroclinic and see if he can help.

My mistake. Thought all X boards shared the same amount of game eproms.

That's one serious project though!

Thanks for your help, very much appreciated. Problem is I’ve already contacted mark and James brindle who are unable to help. So I may have hit a dead end with this. I’m unsure atm if it can’t be fixed if I’m selling it as it is for someone else to have a pop at it or putting a pc in
