Also use various BT controllers, 8bitdo, Nintendo Switch online controllers. PS5 and Xbox series, all work fine and don't need to be re-connected each time. Are you using the built-in BT on the SS1? Or your own USB dongle? Not all of them are 100% compatible with the Linux os on MiSTer

tried a plethora of devices, i own nearly all of the 8bitdo range, they all connect fine, but then dont when the system is reset

its an absolute PITA because it means i have a USB keyboard close by when i turn the thing on

i've had this problem since day one with both the MiSTer and now SS1, it removes it before i re-adds it every single time

whats the USB BT Dongle you are using?
I had issues with one that had wifi built in too
so now use an ASUS one and it works as expected

What mode have you had them set to? I can't be sure but I swear I had problems like this when I was using one of Switch/Dinput/Xinput with 8bitdo stuff and MiSTer

ill have a check....somehow

so mine are in dinput, ill need to pair them as xinput and see if it makes a difference, if it does, i will be furious with myself
