Finally completed my douglasgb self build 20 pin logic comparator. As you can imagine it took several hours to solder all the components to the PCB

Busy couple of days. Who would have thought it takes so long to put an Astro City back together.

Left to do:
Reconnect marquee light to 240v.
Couple of safety stickers to apply.
Coin box door.
One control panel lock.
Instruction panel.
Coin entry slot repaint.
Bezel spot fix.

Those security bolts are a pain in the ass.
Wish i took more pictures when i started.
Few scratches during transit to my house from my Dads where we resprayed, ah well.

Thanks to Muddymusic for the side art and CP artwork. Super smashing great as always :)

I am digging for information on 2 very large machines that were once in my area, one that I did not find out about until recently. Since these machines may not even exist today (I am looking for the specific machines that were in my area, not just any machine) it may take me months to gather the information. Due to a major problem with the search I may not be able to find any more information on one of the 2 machines. Once I have the information I am going to write articles about them on arcadeheroes.com so eventually everyone will know!

Older thread but I have two games that are going to be "interesting" to restore:

Midway "Asteroid" from 1973 (Space Race Clone)

Midway "Gun Fight" from 1975

They are in really good condition as far as games from the 1970's go but still a challenge.
