Nice collection 👍

No point showing mine because i only have 2 left 😂 SMW because it's my fav Mario game of them all and Super SF2 because i paid £90 for it in 1994 and flat out refuse to sell it for a tenner. I just couldn't wait for the US/Uk release and knew the artwork would be poor (wasn't wrong). Saved up for ages before it released. It was difficult for me to get so ended up paying through the nose. Cramlington consoles, Robbing bastards. They can throw that in my coffin with me.

I kept quite a few but as per that sales clear out the time was right. I sold off all the valuable ones but did replace a number with AliX boots - the cart quality is unreal now - super close and dare I say even better cart moulding maybe than the big N.

i have a small PAL SNES collection, some boxed, ill take some photos when i next am up there and post, i only really collected the games i liked, so i think its only about 20 carts or so, some are boxed though

still think my favourite game on the console is Iron Man Off Road, as much as i love Super Mario World, Iron Man to this day is still an amazing game to play

Anyone remember Colin at Megaware? I used to rent my SNES games from him circa 1990 and used to chat on the phone regularly. A while after the PS had launched he told me he was stopping hiring SNES games and we agreed a deal for me to buy most of his SNES games in one go.

I’ll never forget the day that box arrived. About 40 odd in one delivery - boxes all like brand new as he only mailed the carts. How can it be so long ago now!

I was the same. I paid £90 for Super Famicom SF2 Turbo the moment it came out and my mate paid £160 for World Warrior. Had to be done. And yes, crap artwork on uk releases and played in slow motion.

I'm going for a full Super Famicom set. I think I have less than 300 to go now. Not super fussed about US NTSC or UK/EU PAL exclusives (for the moment) but you can't fault the JP artwork.

Incidentally, they are only stacked horizontally (and not in alphabetical order yet) due to the amount of space they take when sorted on the spines. If sorted by spines vertically, I'd need another 3/4 Billy bookcases so the room layout isn't permanent for the moment.

I do collect aftermarket releases too - only recently got into them. Sunset Riders was never released in Japan so had to get that one. :)

Great collection some really nice games and nicely displayed! I love the Final Fight fight row, I can't afford the other 2 Final Fights. Just love all that artwork.

Here's a pic that shows most of my SFC games although I've got a few more that are below on shelves that are even more untidy as i ran out of space. Some of them I got in the 90s but most are more recent.

Ah... storage solutions - floating shelves are great if you have a curated collection but if you have a shed ton of games, it's not gonna cut it. I love but hate Billy at the same time. I wish they did a half depth version as I hate double depth. I did some research and found this place - https://shelvingsystem.co.uk/ - they seem to have really good custom options for larger collections. Much better than Billy but where all my stuff is currently is temporary until I get the garden games room sorted out but that's been in the making now for several years! :D

There must be a Gunple: Gunman’s Proof, or original Iron Commando in there!

Only one I went a bit nuts for was Starfox - so much hype around that at the time and I can well remember Andy Crane (IIRC) reviewing it on Bad Influence. I can't remember what I did or ate yesterday but for some reason these things stick in my brain and I can still picture myself ordering it from a phone box on holiday in Sheringham for something like £90!
