You certainly have a nice collection of things there Retroman
Are any of them your own from your childhood?
How many years has it taken to build up the collection?

Some bits yes ..
Some bits are actually dug up from out of our Garden from when we played with them as kids ..

A lando kalrisian

leia Endor helmet

But mostly no ..
But most we had what we now have so we have always gone towards what we had ..

Exception Japanese stuff,

But evil Ken’evil / gremlims / ghost busters / mask / he man / transformers / action man / action force / g i Joe , starcom
Star wars blah blah .. we have had most of it as kids,

We had a Ewok battle wagon usa esclusive as kids .,,
But now I got the skiff ,

We actually got most our toys as kids with our Mum and dad at jumble sales , but all them got smashed / played with .

Started collecting toys all my
Life really ..

As a kid I even had a care bare collection .. I mailed away for a care bear cloud car ..
But I could not have ever got the
Care bear city care a lot !
As it was way outta my parants budget and I think it was usa exclusive.

When mask toys came out
I had to have it !
Being only of around 7 years of age the only way i could get it

Was to take the money for the electricity bill my parents would keep in a cup on the mantle piece above the fire place and buy it!

£60 It got me
miles mayhem and his plane / helicopter

Condor

Thunder hawk

Parents found out ,
I got punished
But they gave them to me the next Christmas ( 7/8 month wait …
🤣🤣🤣🤣
My memories of the toy shops /
Toy isles is great man!
Star wars
Transformers
Action force …
He man ,,,
Care Bares , wuzzles & my little ponies 😁.

When star wars line Finished after return of the jedi …

Woolworths bundled all loose
Stuff into bags and sold it cheap .. me and my bros we bought some of that stuff …

It was full of the last 17 figures loose .. so they must have had bad glue on the bubbles

I remember you saying, very cool set that is

Rarest slot car set I have is Automan, basically same as Ideal Dukes Of Hazzard with cardboard computers to replace the buildings, Automan Car instead of General Lee and new Box Lid, even had Dukes of hazzard on the track, has sticker to cover it :ROFLMAO:

Got couple of carded figures, jigsaw too and Series on DVD. Not much Automan stuff so you wouldn't need to much space to collect it all lol

Hang onto that set as its worth a lot of money if its complete, as Hornby Hobbies (who owns Scalextric) only has one complete and its in their Vistor's Centre, if I remember correctly, as they sold off there archive years ago, which was a treasure trove of wonders:)
