Who do you use to get the PCBs done, and I take it you would recommend them?

Also, i have a quote for getting these assembled to include all discrete and sockets parts soldered in. Add the chips etc yourself. I will start to collate a list of people interested. The cost per board like this is likely to be around £150 plus shipping. Need min 10 people but can go higher. If get 20 or more might be able to drop the price some to.

I can update universal on all their schematic errors at the same time , only 40 years late!!Hoping to get most of the remaining parts assembled on this rev2 board today. Just received some more 20 pin sockets! More photos later

Not for you then i guess. this isn't a cheap project unfortunately. New plate through boards aren't simple to make. I did say i might be able to get the price down if there is more than 20 interested and you can always just buy a blank pcb for £50 ish and do it all yourself.

I would go for one of these if I didn't already own an original because some of us enjoy building these.

Also remember with this new pcb, there are many additions over an original
- Standard Jamma connection with labelled pins
- Built in audio section to output through jamma standard
- @Philmurrs high score save built in for optional population
- Reduction of ics
- Custom colour palette set options (halloween/xmas etc)
- All new quality parts, fully plate through no smd.
- Every ic socketed for easy replacement in future
and more things i probably forgot!

Completely different hardware.i wonder how much different the hardware for do's castle is.
Multiple Z80's, HD46505 display controller, dynamic RAM, custom graphics chip, you name it...
