Small 26 pin R A connector on the sega jvs to jamma io
And also on the capcom io
1p. Pin 3 and pin 9 = x & y axis
2p. Pin 4 and pin 10

Just going to try if I can take +5 & ground from the 26 pin also
Or if it’s from the 60 pin RA…

I have 1 analogue with resistors in line
Amd 1 without so interesting to see
If any change .

Also the op amp =. Is it required ?
I have read that it’s not required ?
You just need to config the analogue stick in settings, I think maybe the op amp Abolish’s the need to config stick each time you play .

Not sure about resistors, but the op amp is probably only necessary with the og monkey ball stick.
That stick has an over-sized restrictor disc, so the pots don't see the full range of motion as the default config.
Op-Amp gives greater sensitivity over a smaller range of movement.

Like a range doubler
I have one for an afterburner climax stick …. The ball and socket yoke type thing & sprint also Adds to the overall feel

Update as I found more discussion on the A-PO thread: Xed and Mirko repro Monkeyball banana and harness
XeD on adding resistors to analog sticks:
It's to add more resistance to the pot. It's only needed if using an op amp for the, completionist. The original stick use 5k pots where as the Gundam one use 1k pots.

With the Gundam stick wire directly to to analog port you get pretty close reading to the original MB. If you use the Gundam stick without the resistor and an opamp the game is unplayable as its way to sensitive. You have to do the mod to the pot or change the value on the opamp

XeD on using Gundam (1K pot sticks):
Option 1:
Get close to original sensitive. Wire directly to stick. Will need 6 wire, if you only have 4 you will need to piggyback the power and ground.

Option 2:
If you want close to original sensitive, don't want to modify your harness and want to use the amp. Ad a 2k resistor to pin 1 and 3 of the pot.

Option 3:
If you want to use your amp and want a little more sensitivity add 1.6k resistor instead of the 2k. 1.6k is about as low I would go. On one of my stick on one of the axis I max out . The other 5 pots are around F5

Option 4:
If you want more sensitivity but don't want to add resistor to the harness. You need to make some changes to the op amp. If you don't want to desolder the old resistor you can add a 50ohm resistor (I only have 52.3ohm on hand) in parallel to R11/12 and a 2k resistor (I only have 1k on hand so you will see 2) in parallel to R2 and R9.
@Retroman839 do you know what sort of pots you have in that Sega stick?

Have you tried wiring things directly and seeing what happens?

And my monkey ball rom jap
Don’t like my Naomi 2 !
So I got to pull the Naomi 1 out rig up the net dim and I’m using the capcom to jamma to start to as that has the analogue input also
So seeing how that works .. at same time

Then I got the afterburner climax stick
Which I will need the op amp for !
Ultimately it’s a the atlfter burner stick I will use ..

It has a bigger yoke and bigger main spring than the monkey ball original stick …
( I’m going to add 4 bed springs to my afterburner sticks but that’s for another day 🤣🤣🤣🤣)

As soon as I ge time I will be wiring directly

Naomi 2 not compatible with monkeyball ?

First I got a video image
Than nothing ….
Then I rememberd can’t use capcom io to power naomi & net dim..
So will have to pull a sun psu out tomorrow and carry on
