Aria went business only some years back, Scan is the best atm, OC aren't really price competitive & CCL got a bit greedy sadly. Also, bloody AI has sent memory prices high and will be doing the same to storage too.
CCL was ok back in Amiga days and late 90`s for pc stuff, prices went through roof around 15 years ago with them. Early 2000`s where ok with those computer shows in and around Leeds / Bradford but there long gone. Only ever bought 1 pre built from PC specialists about 12 years ago ( still have it amd fx 9590 coupled with a sabretooth v2 motherboard 16 gig ram ) top of range at time had a amd R9 295x in it.

lovely 8bitdo keyboard there, i have the famicom version and my son has the nes, fantastic little keyboards
I have it set up with the Mister, was just using it as it had the usb cable connected and the pc wasn't recognising my keychron initially. To be honest will probably sell the Mister, the keyboard plus a few other things (like the Spectrum Next, which has made me realise what an intelligent kid I was as the C64 was way better than this Spectrum crap 😂)

Put it on the floor where PCs belong! :D
It's going in the bin very shortly 😂

Installed steam which then repeatedly closed every few seconds as did every other app or attempt to update drivers etc. Uninstalled and reinstalled steam, better but still having issues. Games won't install as it's giving me a corrupt files error. Think I need a fresh windows install and try again!

Oh, and it's only not on the floor as I have a sit stand desk and don't want to accidently yank cables out!

Did it come pre-installed? I would deff get all the proper drivers and do it yourself, chances are some extra software is on there?

Other than Norton 360, it's actually pretty clean. I made the mistake of signing into my Microsoft account and got loads of random shit from my one drive folder.

It's really weird. Managed to install cyberpunk via steam but it just crashes after a few seconds. Trying something else via Xbox, just to see if that works

not only drivers, make sure you have the latest bios for your motherboard, that caused my son a lot of pain late last year with games just crashing on him

Was the PC 'tuned' in anyway before purchase, I would be curious to see what settings are used in the BIOS
No idea, I've not got that far. To be honest I'm a bit clueless when it comes to bios settings so just naturally assume everything is ok. Just running window repair at the moment as a last step before wiping. Sfc /scan now found some issues but couldn't repair them all so will see if this works.

try these before wiping, it does sound like a bios issue though, so you need to manually update the bios

This is what I can see in Bios. No idea why the 6000mhz ram is running at 4800. To be honest no idea what I'm looking for

That's the base clock of the ram, the 'OC' is 6000 which you can see it is as EXPO is enabled (EXPO is AMDs version of XMP)

Now personally, I hate what they have done with this build, 9950X3D, 5090 GPU, and a bloody B series motherboard! (that's not to say it's an overly bad mobo, but I would be wanting an X series myself paying that kinda money)
