Bought some PiTrex recently. They are very good, although like the vecfever isn't being supported anymore. The last damned VecFever went for £3270, just no. Repairing a UK101, PET8032, and a LinnDrum. Plus a Space Guerilla that recently died.

Original guy won't answer emails, probably waiting for the VF price to hit 10K before dropping the odd one here and there on ebay. No intention of making more, no intention of releasing it PD, nobody cares about owt but cash these days.

Let me know when it's ready and I'll point you to an entire repository of the RIGHT images to use - otherwise it will take many, many hours to make the damned thing work. Once it does though...

PiTrex is just as capable, if not more capable, than the VecFever. It's just that no-one has written software for it that's as good as Thomas has done on VF. Obviously, he doesn't get any of the money when they sell for crazy money. In fact, I understand it pisses him off, so it's no wonder it's put him off selling any more. He doesn't seem interested in making money from VecFever.

To set up the pitrex when I purchased it só it should be ok

He should release a thousand of them and listen to the tormented screams from all the carpetbaggers. With popcorn and a glass of something expensive. He's a genius and deserves much more.

…. Looks to be from pocket watches … machine threaded internally and externally seems up to the job and I should be able to screw a weighted fly wheel on not to much bother .

Just required Another shaft support and a mounting bracket whiich I think I can fasion in one part and it should be game ready.

I’ve got those two tidy Noir on the way. I’m planning on turning them into exA-Arcadia units.

I’ve already ordered new 7B CP’s, so I might sell off the “rare” official NAMCO ones that they come with. Two Seimitsu x Atasa DRYSURF Matte Full-Set LSX-NOBI and matching black Wagara dust washers and buttons are winging their way to me already to complete the murdered out look that I’m going for.

I’ve got a couple of 32” Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED 4K 240Hz 0.03ms monitors that I’m not using, so I’ll see about shoehorning those in.

Other than that, I’ll give them a good clean if they need it and then I should be all set. It’ll give me something to do for a few weeks at least. Oh, and I’ll order a couple of those Irken Labs JVS Expander and some Nano DE-10, so that I can still play Hyper Fighting.
